We invite Partners to join Orange 5G Lab

Virtual reality, video analytics or device monitoring are just some of the solutions from our Partners that are already present in Orange 5G Lab – a place where you can develop and test in practice innovative ideas that become possible thanks to 5G. Orange 5G Lab is a new Orange Group initiative that aims to demonstrate in practice the capabilities of 5G networks by providing our Partners and Customers with laboratory infrastructure to learn, test and create innovations using 5G technology.

Orange 5G Lab is equipped with solutions that are already available or will be installed in the commercial network in the future, and you can test them in the lab right now. Thanks to this environment, together with Orange you can develop your products, adapt them to the latest technical solutions, and gain a competitive advantage. You will also benefit from the complete ecosystem available in the test and development portion of Orange 5G Lab, consisting of, among others:
  • 5G radio,,
  • Edge Computing,
  • an IoT platform
and many other essential components, such as communication modules, routers and cameras.

Ultimately, you can showcase your product in the Orange 5G Lab exhibition area, allowing you to reach Customers together with Orange.

By becoming a part of Orange 5G Lab, you will also be offered support within Orange Fab, thanks to which you will gain access to mentors, promotion of the solution on the Polish market or the possibility of scaling the solution within the Orange Group worldwide.

One of the companies supported by Orange Fab is CTHINGS.CO, which has developed innovative IoT solutions using 5G technology in the field of Industry 4.0. The company has developed a proprietary intelliventory® system that consists of:

  • 5G industrial devices,
  • the operating system for processing data at the network edge,
  • and a modular IoT platform.

Orange Group’s 5G Labs are already present in 10 locations around the world, in countries such as France, Belgium, Romania and Poland, where building solutions together with startups is particularly appreciated.

An example of a company that has benefited from Orange 5G Lab support in France is BioSerenity providing solutions in the area of telemedicine. It aims to ease congestion in hospitals and connect patients with healthcare professionals using the Neuronaute device to monitor medical parameters outside the medical facility. In June 2021, this startup was the winner in a 5G competition organized by the city of Issy-les-Moulineaux and Orange 5G Lab. With support from Orange 5G Lab, BioSerenity tested its device using the 5G network.

Another example is a solution from TwinswHeel, which offers autonomous commercial vehicles. They were tested in Orange 5G Lab and integrated into the 5G network to prepare a commercial offering of the solution.

These are just examples. Do you have an idea for developing your innovative solution?
We look forward to working with you!
